As you may know by now, The Stanley Works and Black & Decker merged on March 15, 2010.  Since finalization of the merger the combined company, Stanley Black & Decker has engaged in many transitional activities including realigning operations and brands.  Included in this realignment is the transition of the K2 Commercial Hardware business from the Black & Decker Hardware and Home Improvement Group (BDHHI) into the Stanley Security Solutions business.  With this transition we are taking the opportunity to leverage the significant strength of the Stanley brand in the Commercial Hardware markets by re-branding K2 with the Stanley name. 

The K2 brand has gained significant strength in the market over the past three years, and this change in endorser branding will help advance the K2 business into the future.

For those unfamiliar with the resource disk, the following information and tools are available for quick reference:

The resource disk has a built in version check that will verify upon opening software if your version is the latest.  Internet Access is required.  No installation is required; program runs straight from the disk.
